Iran has banned its citizens from having contact with 60 international organisations including Hivos. Iran’s Intelligence Ministry accuses the organizations on the list of being involved in a “soft war” against the Islamic Republic.
Protest
In a letter to the Iranian ambassador in Holland Hivos protested against the accusations. The letter was sent to the Iranian embassy on thursday january 7.
