A lot of discussion has been going on how the effectiveness of development cooperation should be improved. Now it is time for ACTION! A Call to Action will facilitate your innovative plan on what development cooperation should look like and reverts it into action through the course of a year. The most effective and innovative action will receive the JongOS Innovation Award at the end of 2011!
Join our year of action starting with a kick-off conference on January the 22nd at the Dialogues House in Amsterdam. Before the action plans are presented in the open space session, you will first be inspired by a dialogue between co-founder of Oxfam Novib Simon Jelsma, Marieke de Lange, Ben White and Hans Eenhoorn. Secondly you will be inspired by a creative interactive reflection on actual international cooperation by Boom Chicago. Radio DJ and TV presenter Andrew Makkinga will chair the day.
