Digital AlterNatives Video Contest
The Centre for Internet and Society and Hivos are pleased to announce the Digital AlterNatives video contest. There are hundreds of stories of the Everyday Digital Native - people who are always connected, or on the fringes, or groups that bond over causes but don’t really care for the ‘Digital Native’ tag & hype. Tell us their story through your video! Deadline for your proposals is the 8th of January 2012.
Digital AlterNatives video contest tries to break current myths and show that today’s digital natives are passionate, active and drivers of change. Their actions are not defined according to ‘traditional’ protest but are grounded in a networked cultural form of protest. Through peer to peer sharing, graffiti, rap, blogging, and superhero protest digital natives are navigating their world and the fast changing geo political landscape.
Submit your proposal via Online Application Form by 08 January 2012
