More than 241 people are employed at Hivos, mostly at head office in The Hague. Part of the work is decentralised to the Regional Offices in Zimbabwe, India, Indonesia and Costa Rica. Hivos is a Dutch non-governmental organisation inspired by humanist values. Together with local organisations in developing countries, Hivos seeks to contribute to a free, fair and sustainable world. Regional Director South East Asia

For our Regional Office located in Jakarta, we are looking for a Regional Director South East Asia. The key responsibilities for the regional director are the further development of the Hivos programme in the region, international fundraising for both the programme and office costs, as well as to provide leadership to a staff of 28 people in Indonesia and Timor-Leste.

Fund manager for ATTI (Kenya office)

ATTI, the African Technology and Transparency Initiative is a joint initiative of the Omidyar Network (www.omidyar.com) and Hivos. As a Pan-African Regional Mechanism it will provide financial support for organizations working at the interchange of technology, citizen’s engagement and government transparency. ATTI will empower citizens to hold their leaders accountable by providing access to credible information and creating platforms for civic action. The Hivos Kenya office based in Nairobi has a job opening for a Fund manager.

Co-ordinator (ICT) Election Watch (Kenya office)

The ICT based Election Process Monitoring Programme, is a new capacity building programme based in East Africa at the Hivos Kenya office, with continental and international ambitions. Initially sponsored by Hivos, the programme aims to become a multi-stakeholder platform. For this programme the Hivos Kenya office based in Nairobi is looking for a Co-ordinator (ICT) Election Watch.
