Hivos remains largest donor of gay emancipation worldwide
Hivos is the largest donor worldwide in the field of gay emancipation. This is reflected in a recently published report by the American Research Funder for Lesbian and Gay Issues.
The Humanist Institute for Development Cooperation reserved in 2007 over 4.8 million dollars for 57 organizations and initiatives. For the investigation were about forty international donors compared. It is the second time that such an inquiry is held. In a previous study in 2005, Hivos ended also on top of the list.
