Now, this is what they are:

  • Yes, they are used as ‘taxi’s’: they are called ‘Ojek’
  • They are not very expensive, so yes, the people can afford them, or take a special loan
  • Using them instead of a (car) taxi only makes sense when there is traffic jam. The price is the same.
  • The helmet is compulsory
  • You can survive the trip (still here)
